Behbud

Behbud is a non-governmental, social welfare organization dedicated to the economic empowerment of women in the urban slums of Pakistan. Behbud provides onsite training for its workers—including embroidery, sewing, dying and pattern making—allowing underprivileged women to earn a sustainable income. This organization also provides educational support and offers limited medical services to its workers and local residents of Rawalpindi. Additionally, Behbud is looking to construct a Mother & Child Care Hospital to improve women’s health and serve the slums of the Rawalpindi District within a 60 mile radius. We hope you will contribute to Behbud’s important initiatives to aid these women and their communities. 

Before Behbud, many of these workers had no way to earn money on their own. Behbud has allowed these women to not only support themselves, but their families as well. Click the “Donate” button to help now.

Puerto Rico

Devastated by hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017, the island of Puerto Rico has undergone a long recovery and rebuilding process. However, a large number of homes are still without proper roofs, and many families are still living under blue tarps. This is due to a limited number of trained roofers on the island and scarce financial resources. That is why we are teaming up with 100Roofs Foundation to raise funds for this important project. 100Roofs is a collaborative project with I am Brave and Heart 9/11. Their goal is to build 100 roofs over a 10-week period, while providing carpentry training for residents to become professional roofers at the same time. A percentage of proceeds from our Puerto Rico collection, will go directly to 100Roofs Project, along with any direct donations from our customers to this cause. We hope you will join us in helping rebuild beautiful Puerto Rico.
